The
rain vortex at Jewel Changi Airport was used to build in the car park where it
covers approximately 1.46 million square feet and stands around 10 stories high
with the 5 stories under and the remains above. As it is built in the center,
this huge rain vortex is surrounded by the 820 restaurants, supermarkets and
shops. The hugeness of indoor rain vortex measures 40 meters high and is
considered to be the highest indoor waterfall in the world.
It
is said that the rain vortex at Jewel Changi Airport has a huge amount of water
from the accumulation of rain and the waterfall. During the night, the
waterfall keeps falling with the spectacular lights and sounds that create the
harmony. As you look around, you will see the green vegetation consisting of 60,000
shrubs and 900 trees where there are many walking trails through the garden. No
wonder if Singapore is "called City in a Garden".
If
you feel tired to imagine walking around the trails, you can embark on the
skytrain that moves around the forest to see its magical views. Thanks for the
airport director that the rain vortex at Jewel Changi Airport is designed for
free to visit so for this year, the Changi Airport director hopes to see around
50 up to 60 million visitors from all over the world. So, if you need to see
its splendor, you can take a tour in this fascinating view in Changi
International Airport.
